This course is beyond
great! For the following reasons:
•
All proposed procedures easily incorporated into
existing physical therapist practice styles and
directing how to process systematically into treatment.
•
Provide tools to predict diagnostic and prognostic
category for each patient
• Explains mechanism of
Dry Needling in the very practical way.
• It was
confirming the need for classification for System
Diagnostics and not individualizes pathology at the
initial patient evaluation

"Absolutely fantastic. I left the
course very, very excited. Very realistic expectations
set -not a course that pretend everyone and everything
will be cured". Stuart Fife, PT, DPT, Atlanta, GA

I wanted to thank you both for the great teaching and the introduction of an incredible method. I have so much good outcomes with your needles techniques and concepts. It's certainly one of the best method for pain management, and to take your words a real 'missing link' in the practice of physical therapy and pain management. It's so effective for headaches, post-MVA, trigger points and so much more.
I love the fact that I can use homeostatic points to treat painful areas that cannot be needled directly, specialy in very painful low back pain or in case ofcentral senzitization and neuropathic pain symptoms. It's unfortunate that needles are underexploited in managing central senzitization and neuropathic pain symptoms, I think it has incredible potential.
Treating with your approach also made me much better at understanding and differentiating tissue pathology from pain. Your method of needling demands us to question ourselves about what we are treating, pain and/or tissue damage. Needle lesions can address both problems stunningly. Furthermore, it helps us to make a better judgement about the patient's pain experience, we become better at separating pain from tissue damage.
I could talk to you for so long about how important this takes now in my practice, it doesn't replace active rehabilitation, but it's most probably the best passive modality for pain management. I would still argue that it should be presented equally as a non specific and a very specific intervention.
but don't get me wrong, the non-specific aspect is VERY important(which is deeply missing in trigger point dry needling courses) and makes my needling techniques roughly 50% to 70% more effective, and permits to treat more conditions. So congratulation for the teachings and the book, can't wait for part 2 and the second book !
Merci beaucoup :) Olivier Portelance Hudon, PT, Canada

Rehabilitation Course In my field, athletes are always looking to gain a competitive edge.
In the past, they relied on incomplete methodologies for athletic enhancement. Therefore, Big Thinkers make big things happen. For us, this Big Thinker provided the clinician with a scientifically proven reference manual demonstrating Advance Dry Needling Techniques which gives detail guidance for enhancing the neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and physiological systems of the elite , professional and recreational athlete.
Who’s this Big Thinker? Well….. Wait no longer….It’s my friend and mentor Dr. Yun-Tao Ma. Dr. Ma’s course and book for Advance Dry Needling for Sports Medicine provides a scientific approach for Physicians , Therapists and Acupuncturists aspiring to achieving optimal balance and maximize athletic performance.
Dr Ma’s book provides a simple, detailed and proven process for detecting and correcting soft tissue dysfunction, preventing chronic sports injuries and maintaining homeostasis by utilizing Advance Dry Needling Techniques to de-stress the musculoskeletal system.
Dr. Ma gets the nervous system firing, the clinician excited and make the athlete say “WOW” after receiving his Advance Dry Needling Therapy. After 10 years of working as a personal performance enhancement doctor, Dr. Ma’s course and book taught me how to add years to the career and life of my athletes. What you will learn in this one section is worth the price of this book.
It will teach you the science and provide the “how to” for you to increase micro-circulation and reduce Cellular Aging in the athlete. Not only does it provide valuable practical information and techniques, but the course and book gives the clinician the effective tools to use for assessing, analyzing and evaluating the autonomic nervous system.
It is an Eastern Philosophy and Western Philosophy merged to create wholeness for the advancement of Sports Medicine. Simply said, “Dr. Ma understands and teaches proven scientific principles for getting “sick muscles well” through the use of Advance Dry Needling Therapy in a well referenced course and book.”

I tried the hip
flexor protocol yesterday on a 52 year old ballet
dancer/instructor. He has had moderate to severe pain in
the right hip flexor and gluteus medius for over 2
years. I have tried deep tissue myofascial release work,
cold laser, interferential electrical stimulation,
manipulation, etc. with relatively little change. Yesterday JT stood up after
the treatment and told me he had zero pain in the hip. Tom Spiridellis,DC
